Hello,
I am Zofia Sierszeńska.

In the spring of 2023, I felt the urge to plant trees. During three spring plantings, I managed to give new life to approximately 120 trees and shrubs. My next goal is to plant shrubs and ornamental plants in the spring.

My mission

My passions are painting and writing poetry. I also lead "return to nature" initiatives, which involve planting trees and shrubs in my town. In 2025, in collaboration with Hope! (the founder of the movement, Javier Peña), I launched the local "Hope! Chest for Nature" initiative.

On this website, you'll find a photo gallery of my paintings, published poetry collections, and an audiobook, as well as a blog with updates on tree plantings and painting exhibitions. The website aims to sell books, ebooks,
and paintings, as well as collect donations for tree planting and environmental awareness.

Proceeds will go towards further tree planting and care. Thank you for being here with me!

Dziękuję za wsparcie.

About Me

I was born in Poznań, and since 2001, I've lived and worked in a small town near Valencia. Before the Berlin walls fell, I lived with my family in Madrid for two years, where I exhibited my own jewelry and ceramics in several group exhibitions. So, I emigrated to Spain twice. First, to give our daughters a better life in a free country, and second, to visit our daughters and also so our son could learn Spanish.

I am Polish, but somewhere deep inside I feel Spanish roots and maybe that is why I divide my time on Earth between these two beautiful countries?

Spain inspires me. It was here that I wrote photo essays and began painting watercolors, primarily portraits. I earned my living creating, with great pleasure, jewelry and miniatures from polymer clay, as well as handmade greeting cards. I taught courses on how to make sauerkraut, as well as how to knead and bake sourdough bread. I was most proud of the loaves baked in a wood-fired bread oven.

For several years now, my second husband, Francisco, and I have been living in a small wooden house, close to the park we take care of.

Everything I've achieved over the past dozen or so years is largely thanks to the support of my life partner. And by that, I mean not just accepting my ideas (sic!), but also taking concrete actions, like digging holes for planting trees, providing objective feedback on every painting I create, or proofreading my Spanish poems.

I turned 70 in May, and I feel like everything I've done so far has led me to this wonderful stage of life. Now I feel completely free and spend most of my time doing what I love.

About my business

I paint for pleasure, and if one of my paintings is appreciated by a client, I feel honored to be able to support Nature.

I write whatever the Universe whispers to me. And if a poem touches someone's heart, I feel honored and I feel like we're increasing the Good Energy that's so needed right now.

About Planting Trees

The need to plant trees came from the heart and so
I wholeheartedly pursue my "Art for Trees" project. It's slowly and beautifully developing, reaching people's hearts. The park I've taken care of is in front of my house, and I'm happy to watch it change and become more beautiful.
