My poems come unannounced, sometimes in bed early in the morning, in alpha state, sometimes under a fig tree. Most often, they flow from nowhere, dwell within me in the company of silence, and materialize on paper or in electronic form. They are sometimes preceded by days of crisis, and that is painful. But once they are born, I forget everything and revel in them.
