"Mystery"

This year, I tried new watercolor techniques in the "Abstraction" theme. This painting was the first; I was surprised by how much fun you can have when you allow yourself complete freedom. Trust yourself, the watercolors, and the paper. This painting revealed new possibilities for me, including therapeutic ones. Painting, especially abstract paintings, is a kind of meditation, a state where I forget about the world.
